Feziwig borrows its name from the uncle of Scrooge in Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol, and its logo from every pimple-faced teenager who ever drew a band logo in a schoolbook. They spring, fully-armed, from the curly checkerboard brain of Rockford Illinois native, Rhys Weyrauch, whose name is pronounced: Reese Why Rock—a birth-name with a set of syllables that nearly insists on being the start of a band manifesto.

This is the kind of punk rock you need. Anger, heartbreak, and isolation. Fervor, fever, and fear. All wrapped up in a sloppy beer-soaked hunger to change the world, one strum at a time.
